The answer became famous, not least because Mallory himself was lost on Everest in the following year. It was sometimes suggested that he and his fellow-climber Andrew Irvine, who were last seen 'going strong for the summit', might in fact have reached it before their deaths, but there was no proof.....

www.fastpitch-mechanics.org is dedicated to helping all of those who play, coach or parent fast pitch softball better understand the fast pitch throwing process. www.fastpitch-mechanics.org follows in the tradition of it's sister-brother sites, www.hitting-mechanics.org and www.pitching-mechanics.org. My name is Paul Nyman. My goal is to provide a place for all to find and discuss factual and relevant information regarding how the body optimally creates movement to throw a softball fast pitch.

The www.hitting-mechanics.org and www.pitching -mechanics.org web sites have set the standard for biomechanical swing and overhand throwing analysis and information through the use of video analysis and computer simulations.

These same tools, methods and techniques will be used to break down and analyze how the best fast pitch softball pitchers use their bodies to propel the softball with speed, movement and accuracy.

Where appropriate will also discuss training methods to optimize/maximize the players abilities and capabilities.
